
Wichita Falls Born Serial Killer Eligible for Parole Next Month
He was officially sentenced for his first murder in 1996 and it looks like his parole hearing will be taking place next month in Navasota, Texas.
The man that has been accused of killing three of his wives, but officially charged with two of them is facing a parole hearing next month. Jack Wayne Reeves was born in Wichita Falls, Texas on June 20, 1940. Now it looks like Reeves first murder actually took place in Italy when he was stationed there in the army. He served four months for manslaughter. After his time was served he returned to Texas to settle in Copperas Cove.
Sharon Vaughn Jack Reeves First Murdered Wife
Now technically Sharon is Jack's second wife. He got married at 18 and annulled the marriage two years later in 1960. Jack would marry Sharon just one year later. The two were actually married for eighteen years. However, one week after their divorce in 1978, Sharon was found dead with what police believed to be a self inflicted gun shot wound. Years later it would be determined that Jack murdered his ex-wife.
Myeong-hi Chong, Jack Reeves Third Wife Also Died
Now Jack Reeves has never been officially charged with the death of his third wife. Myeong-hi Chong married Jack in 1980, she would drown in Texas at Lake Whitney in 1986. According to her family, she was terrified of water and would never swim. Her sister claims she had bruises on her before the death of her sister.
Emilita Villa, Jack Reeves Fourth Wife Also Died in Mysterious Circumstances
Emilita Villa is the most 'viral' of Jack Reeves murders because Emilita Villa was an 18-year-old mail order bride from the Philippines. Jack was 28 years older than Emilita Villa. Emilita became pregnant and Jack did not believe he was the father so he sent her back to the Philippines. She would come back to Texas after Jack received a photo of the child. She was last seen in October of 1994. Her body would be found one year later buried near Lake Whitney where Jack's third wife drowned.
Jack Reeves Officially Charged With Both Murders in 1996
Jack's second wife, Sharon Vaughn's body would be exhumed after the death of Emilita. Thanks to new technology, they determined it would be impossible for her to use the shotgun on herself that way. Jack would receive a 35-year prison sentence for her murder. Then another trial took place in the death of Emilita Villa. Jack would receive an additional 99 years for her murder.
Jack's parole hearing will be taking place on February 6, 2026. If Jack serves his full sentence, he will get out on February 6, 2095. He would be 155 years old at the time of that release.
