City Of Lawton Announces Official Trick-Or-Treating Hours For Halloween Saturday

Halloween is on a Saturday this year, and the City of Lawton has announced its citywide tick-or-treating hours for Saturday, Oct. 31. This year, trick-or-treaters can go door-to-door in Lawton city limits from 6-9 p.m.

Now that we've entered the "ber" months, Lawton residents are looking forward to all of the fall events that make up September, October and the first part of November, until we finish out the year with the holiday season. Halloween is one of the top holidays in Lawton with trick-or-treating and various trunk-or-treats.

Lawton Trick-Or-Treating Hours

Once again this year, the City of Lawton will host trick-or-treating hours citywide from 6-9 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 31. The hours are only in effect for Lawton city limits. In years past, the City of Lawton has hosted trick-or-treating hours citywide on days other than Halloween if Oct. 31 falls on a school night.

Last year, Halloween fell on a Friday. And luckily this year, Halloween will be on a Saturday so kids on Lawton city limits can trick-or-treat on Oct. 31.

Lawton Halloween Events

Lawton residents can usually expect an October filled with various Halloween events from festivals to trunk-or-treats before the big night of trick-or-treating on the 31st. The City of Lawton often hosts various Halloween events, including trunk-or-treats at the city's rec cents and a festival at City Hall.

At time of publishing, the City of Lawton had not announced information on the city's Halloween events other than the official citywide trick-or-treating hours. However, the City of Lawton did confirm that the city would be hosting various Halloween events and more information would be provided the first week of October.
