
Join The Festive Cheer At Cameron’s Tree Lighting Event
One of the best tree lighting events in Lawton is at Cameron University! The university will host its annual Tree Lighting on Thursday, December 4 on its Lawton campus.
This year's tree lighting festivities at Cameron University will begin at 6 p.m. All of the indoor events will take place on the second floor of the McMahon Centennial Complex. The tree lighting ceremony will be just outside the McMahon Centennial Complex near the Bentley Gardens.
Decorate cookies or go on a holiday carriage ride at Cameron University's Tree Lighting.
Cameron University has activities for the whole family during its annual Tree Lighting! The tree lighting will begin with performances by the Cameron University Concert Choir and the Cameron University Jazz Ensemble.
Once the tree is lit, attendees can take a carriage ride around Bentley Gardens. Cameron University offers a beautiful campus to the Lawton community, and it's especially beautiful during the holiday season with all the buildings lit up!
Inside the McMahon Centennial Complex, attendees can enjoy a smores station, decorate their own holiday cookies and enjoy hot cocoa, eggnog and apple cider. Plus, bands and choirs from local high schools and middle schools will fill the evening with festive music!
Cameron University's Tree Lighting is free and open to the public.

Cameron University will also host a holiday concert Friday, December 5.
Cameron University will offer more holiday cheer for the community with Holiday Concert performed by the university's Concert Band and Jazz Ensemble. The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. at the University Theatre.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for senior citizens, military and non-Cameron students. Cameron students, faculty and staff receive free admission with their Cameron ID.
