Dani Carson was born and raised in Lawton and graduated from Cameron University with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and media production with a minor in English, along with an associate’s degree in strategic communications. If Dani isn’t at the radio station, you may find her teaching horseback riding lessons in Apache, or anywhere else in Oklahoma or Texas performing live music. Dani’s background in writing music gives her a new perspective on the creativity and the hard work it takes to make a good track. If anyone appreciates the talent in local artists and original artists, it’s Dani. Dani loves animals, especially her dogs and horses, so her writing often covers animal news in Oklahoma. She also covers the state's music scene, local festivals and fairs, other interesting facts about the state of Oklahoma.
